Owners in this case study building were motivated to become involved in the LEAF project in order to save energy and improve comfort. They hoped the project would identify appropriate technical solutions that were sympathetic to their building’s listed status.
Unfortunately, finding appropriate energy efficiency measures was challenging in this case. Smart heating control systems were the only measure recommended to owners during the project. The installation of this measure has been discussed by owners; however, no decision has yet been made on whether to proceed with this.
