Owners in this case study building were motivated to become involved in the LEAF project in order to reduce their energy bills and improve comfort. They were interested in energy efficiency measures with short payback periods that could be installed with as little disruption as possible.
During the project, owners were recommended to install a new gas heating system. It was projected that this measure would reduce fuel bills for the whole building by approximately €18, 696 a year. At the last annual assembly of the owners’ community, it was agreed that this measure would be installed in the coming year.
