Overview: Anna Donarelli, from LEAF project partner Uppsala University, and Fredrik Berg, from the Norwegian Institute for Cultural Heritage Research (NIKU) (and former employee of Uppsala University during the LEAF project), have written a paper entitled “Energy performance certificates and historic buildings: a method to encourage user participation and sustainability in the refurbishment process”. LEAF project results and experiences from the LEAF Swedish case studies are presented in this paper.
The paper will be presented at the 2nd International Conference on Energy Efficiency and Comfort of Historic Buildings (EECHB 2016). This conference aims to bring together international experts and stakeholders involved in energy efficiency to share the latest developments and experiences for improving the energy efficiency and comfort of historic buildings.
